Gladiators, Are You Ready for Battle Rage Slot?

By Sophie Hayward

Welcome to Vampy Party slot, where the only thing sucking harder than your last date is the crowd at this vampire nightclub. Luckily, I don’t need to book a ticket to Transylvania to get a taste of what a nocturnal party hosted by a bunch of weirdos would be like; there are plenty of them…

While the Battle Rage slot from TrueLabs certainly isn’t an architectural marvel, it does offer some of the same entertainment as the Colosseum.

Do you feel the rage building?

The Battle Rage slot’s base gameplay offers cascading reels and a pay-anywhere mechanic. The pay-anywhere mechanic means that any five of the same symbols, regardless of where they land on the reels, will complete a winning combination. Cascading reels will remove all symbols involved in winning combinations allowing new symbols to fall into the empty spots. This gives you multiple shots at winning on each spin.

The Wild Symbol, featuring a Roman Emperor, substitutes for all other symbols except for the Scatter and Multiplier symbols, giving you a better shot at hitting those winning combinations. But the real action starts when it ties into the Rage Meter. The Wild Symbol only shows up when the Rage Meter hits at least 2X, so you’ll want to keep an eye on that growing multiplier in the top corner.

The Rage Meter sits up in the top right corner, quietly working as a never-ending multiplier for your wins. There’s no cap on how high it can climb, and it applies to all your winnings until the spin finishes or you trigger the Bonus Game. To boost the Rage Meter, you’ll want to collect Multiplier Symbols. Silver Multipliers boost the Rage Meter by various amounts, starting from 2X and going all the way up to a ridiculous 1000X. Gold Multipliers, on the other hand, multiply whatever you’ve accumulated in the Rage Meter by up to 10X. This can seriously ramp up your winnings when things start heating up on the reels.

Hit 3 Scatter Symbols during the Base Game, and you’ll trigger the Bonus Game, scoring 7 Free Spins. It doesn’t stop there, though—you can retrigger the Bonus by landing 2 or 3 Scatters, earning 2 or 4 more spins. What makes the Bonus Game really exciting is the Rage Meter. During this feature, it doesn’t reset between spins. It just keeps growing until your Free Spins are done. And once a Wild Symbol shows up, that massive multiplier applies to your winnings, making it one of the most exciting moments of the game.

Is the Battle Rage slot ready for a fight?

The Battle Rage slot features a betting range that starts at $0.20 and goes up to $4 per spin. The maximum win achievable when playing the slot is $400,000, driven by an insanely large 100,000x max multiplier. This high-volatility slot is designed for players who enjoy a more intense gaming experience with the possibility of significant rewards but few small consistent winning opportunities. The return to player (RTP) is set at 95.14%.

The illustrators at TrueLabs really didn’t need to go as hard as they did with the three characters in the Battle Rage slot. Each has chiseled facial features and eyes that stare into your soul. I don’t swing that way but sheesh, there is some heat on the reels of the Battle Rage slot and it’s not coming from the flames. The rest of the graphics are equally as strong and the gameplay and bonus features don’t let the graphics down. I give the Battle Rage slot a nine out of ten.

If you’re on the hunt for some other TrueLabs gems at BitStarz, I recommend trying out Dr. Rock & the Riff Reactor and Guns, Love & Therapy.
