Triple Turducken Slot: When One Just Isn’t Enough

By Colin Rodgers

Turducken is the Frankenstein’s monster of holiday meals—a culinary marvel (or abomination, depending on your perspective) that involves stuffing a deboned chicken inside a deboned duck, which is then stuffed inside a deboned turkey. The layers of poultry are typically separated by delicious stuffing, creating a meaty, flavor-packed centerpiece that’s as much a conversation starter as it is a meal. Whenever I hear the name Turducken, I think of that line from the first Jurassic Park movie: “Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should.”

Now, since the festive season is approaching, it’s no wonder that festive themes are starting to leak onto reels near you. It was only a matter of time before someone decided that Turducken just couldn’t be ignored. Enter High 5 Games and its new Triple Turducken slot.

Don’t forget the stuffing and cranberry sauce

The base gameplay of the Triple Turducken slot is featureless, not even including a wild symbol. All of the action revolves around the slot’s Bonus Select feature, which is triggered with three or more of the slot’s cornucopia scatter symbols.

Once the Bonus Select feature has been triggered, you can select between two separate bonus options—no surprises there. The first is a standard round of free spins. The second is an instant win game where you select pieces of pie that reveal a random instant win amount.

Is the Triple Turducken slot ready for the oven?

The Triple Turducken slot offers betting from $0.50 a spin. If you bet at the $50 a spin maximum, you’ll have a shot at $252,900 in winnings thanks to the 5,058x maximum multiplier. Medium volatility gives the slot a balance between the rare large wins and more consistent small wins. The slot offers an RTP of 96.5%.

High 5 Games seems to be in a bit of a triple phase right now. First, there was Tripple Ghouls, and now there’s the Triple Turducken slot. While Tripple Ghouls is probably worth a miss, the Triple Turducken slot has something about it. There is a quirk factor here that is hard to quantify. The slot’s graphics aren’t amazing and the bonus features aren’t exactly groundbreaking. But there is an element that I can only liken to slowing down to see a car crash. You’re not sure why you do it but you do. Is that an endorsement? I guess. You’ll have to judge for yourself.

If you’re looking for a few High 5 Games that I do endorse, try Founding Fortunes Wins and Cannon Cove.
